In the not so distant past, names like NEC Birmingham, Olympia and ExCeL London were place names you knew.
Maybe you’d been to one or more of these landmark venues to represent your business or to visit seeking new ideas.
For the past eighteen months, these giant structures and others like them have been mothballed.
These cavernous spaces, previously visited by millions annually, have been eerily empty.
The good news is that they won’t be this way for much longer.
This week I received an email from Olympia promoting their upcoming events.
The first, Aesthetic Medicine Live, takes place in four weeks (8th-9th July).
Also in July at Olympia are Infosecurity Europe, which London Film and Comic Con follow.
However, before these three events happen, we will have attended CONFEX at ExCeL London in June (22-23rd).
Talking of CONFEX, pre-registered visitors must show a negative flow-test result to access the venue and the show.
We will have to wait and see if this stipulation will apply to other events.
As venues start to re-open, it's time to take your stand; graphics and displays out of mothballs too.
If you have an event or two lined up for this year, we can help update or refresh your equipment.
