The NEC, Birmingham
Ziegler required an expansive, commanding exhibition presence capable of promoting their diverse core service sectors—ranging from air, ocean, rail, and road freight to e-commerce and customs. The structure needed to balance high-level informational graphics with dynamic digital elements to engage passing traffic. Additionally, the client required distinct spaces within the footprint, including an open lounge for casual visitor interactions and a private, semi-enclosed seating area for confidential corporate discussions.
We designed and deployed a sophisticated 9m x 6m modular Aluvision exhibition stand utilizing a bold green and yellow brand color palette paired with high-quality wood-effect flooring. The design incorporated a towering, continuous graphic header wall to anchor the space and maximize cross-hall visibility. We seamlessly divided the floor plan into functional zones, building out an integrated, semi-private canopy lounge complete with comfortable sofa seating alongside an open high-top table arrangement for quick touchpoints.
The stand featured massive, seamless fabric and rigid graphic walls that broadcasted Ziegler’s global offices, UK warehouse footprints, and core freight transport capabilities.
We integrated high-end, 3D backlit corporate logos illuminated with warm white LED lighting to edge contours, ensuring the brand name stood out sharply within the exhibition hall.
The framework seamlessly housed two large commercial display screens—a 55″ and a 65″ screen—positioned on separate faces to loop corporate media, service highlights, and customer case studies.
A custom-branded geometric reception bar was positioned at the front corner of the stand, detailed with warm white LED under-countertop lighting to create an inviting first point of contact.
The layout featured a distinct open-plan high-stool discussion zone alongside a recessed, ceiling-canopy lounge area equipped with integrated spotlights for premium B2B client hospitality.
Guardian Display handled the complete project delivery from initial Aluvision structural pre-build through to final handover on-site at The NEC. Our installation team applied rigorous attention to detail, ensuring perfectly flush graphic joins, flawless integration of the internal AV screens, and immaculate wiring of the warm LED accents to deliver an exceptionally polished, premium finish.
The completed Aluvision stand provided Ziegler with a commanding, visually arresting presence that perfectly matched their status as a global logistics leader. The strategic balance of eye-catching external branding, digital media integration, and versatile hospitality zones successfully drove heavy foot traffic, facilitated high-value networking, and elevated their market profile throughout the Multimodal exhibition.
