ExCeL, London
Global communications group JVCKENWOOD required an authoritative, high-impact exhibition stand for Critical Communications World at ExCeL London to showcase their premier sub-brands, including Kenwood, EFJohnson, and Viking. Utilizing a generous 8m x 8m island footprint, the space needed to project a unified corporate identity while allowing each product line to maintain individual visibility. Functionally, the brief demanded a smart balance between high-capacity digital product demonstrations, a secure private meeting office, centralized lockable storage, and open-plan seating zones to support long-form B2B networking.
We engineered a commanding, custom-configured modular Aluvision environment utilizing a fully open, four-sided island configuration. The layout was anchored overhead by a massive, high-impact rectangular hanging banner to ensure maximum long-range visibility across the ExCeL exhibition hall. To organize the expansive footprint naturally, we positioned independent perimeter display columns for targeted brand messaging, constructed an enclosed structural meeting room at the core, and arranged multi-tiered casual networking pods alongside a prominent, backlit welcome counter.
The stand was crowned by a towering 8000mm x 5000mm x 1000mm hanging fabric banner, projecting bold EFJohnson and Kenwood branding across the entire hall to secure ultimate visual dominance.
Two independent presentation columns equipped with integrated lockable storage counters and double-sided 42” commercial display screens were positioned at the boundary, acting as targeted hubs for specialized sub-brands.
A private, sound-dampened meeting office was built directly into the central Aluvision wall framework, complete with a vision-panel door to facilitate confidential commercial consultations on the show floor.
A prominent 2.1-metre wide lockable reception counter anchored the main entrance, featuring a professionally engineered 1720mm x 170mm backlit logo to greet passing delegates.
The booth seamlessly incorporated a central 65” main media display alongside four independent 42” screens, flawlessly flashing live software interfaces and critical product demonstrations across different structural faces.
Guardian Display managed the end-to-end production pipeline, printing the large-format fabric tension graphics in-house to guarantee crisp typography and flawless color accuracy for the critical communications market. On-site at ExCeL London, our expert build team meticulously assembled the Aluvision framework and routed complex data and power wiring completely out of sight beneath the flush grey-line flooring, delivering an immaculate, premium corporate environment.
The completed exhibition stand provided JVCKENWOOD with a commanding, highly professional presence that stood out as a premier destination at Critical Communications World. By perfectly balancing interactive multi-brand demonstration zones with private consultation rooms and high-visibility overhead branding, the space successfully elevated brand prestige, optimized delegate dwell-time, and supported critical B2B engagement goals.
