ExCel, London
The design centred around the brand’s theme of “Transformation… New look – New spaces – More value”, a message prominently featured across the main back wall. This ensured that delegates immediately understood Imago’s proposition and the evolution of their venue offerings. The clean white upper section contrasted with a deep blue lower half, creating a crisp, contemporary aesthetic that aligned with the brand’s visual identity.
A large, centrally mounted screen played a key role in communicating Imago’s portfolio. Positioned at the forefront of the stand, the display showcased immersive visuals and venue walkthroughs, helping visitors experience the personality and potential of each space ranging from Burleigh Court and Holywell Park to The Link Hotel and Loughborough Campus. This digital storytelling element boosted engagement and encouraged conversation, providing an ideal introduction for event planners exploring new locations for conferences, meetings and hospitality.
One of the most striking features was the curved LED wall on the right-hand side. Large-format video content brought Imago’s venues to life with vivid interior imagery, colourful décor and hospitality scenes. This modern, cinematic display created strong visual pull from across the exhibition hall, making the stand both eye-catching and memorable—especially in a crowded environment where digital content plays a critical role in attracting footfall.
The foreground of the stand was designed to facilitate informal discussions. High tables and contemporary white bar stools provided multiple touch points for networking, consultations and one-to-one conversations. Their placement created smooth visitor flow and supported the natural movement of delegates in and out of the space. The light wood effect flooring added warmth and cohesion, softening the modern design elements and reinforcing the hospitality led nature of Imago’s brand.
Guardian Display ensured all structural details were executed with precision. The stand featured seamlessly integrated graphics, robust modular forms and concealed cable runs to maintain a polished, uncluttered look. Lighting was carefully positioned throughout, illuminating the digital screens, graphic messaging and discussion areas with clarity. This helped create a professional yet welcoming atmosphere that aligned with Imago’s reputation for high quality venue experiences.
From planning and design through to full installation at ExCeL London, Guardian Display managed every stage to ensure the stand delivered both aesthetic appeal and practical performance. The final space allowed Imago to have meaningful conversations with buyers, planners and industry decision-makers, effectively showcasing their venues as world-class locations where people genuinely love to be.
This project demonstrates Guardian Display’s expertise in creating dynamic, brand-led exhibition stands for the meetings and events sector, combining strong digital elements with strategic design to deliver impact, engagement and measurable value at major industry exhibitions.
