NEC, Birmingham
The stand design centred around DiamondBox’s bold orange and white brand palette, ensuring strong recognition and standout visibility on the busy NEC show floor. Curved product display units framed the front corners of the stand, each illuminated to highlight DiamondBox’s range of cardboard packaging solutions — from ecommerce shippers to bespoke retail displays. These shelves created a mini showroom environment, allowing visitors to see the structural creativity, precision cutting and fold engineering that DiamondBox is known for.
A striking overhead ribbed canopy structure formed the architectural focal point of the stand. This feature delivered visual impact from a distance and added a premium, design-studio feel to the space. At the centre of this canopy sat a lush overhead planter, injecting natural greenery into the build and reinforcing DiamondBox’s commitment to environmentally conscious, recyclable packaging solutions. The contrast between engineered cardboard products and organic foliage created a visually engaging balance, perfectly aligned with modern sustainability trends in packaging design.
To the left of the stand, digital content was presented on a wall-mounted screen, supporting DiamondBox’s “Four in FIVE” messaging and highlighting key service pillars such as design, sustainability, rapid turnaround and UK manufacturing. This multimedia element helped communicate complex capabilities quickly and clearly, drawing visitors deeper into the stand.
The right-hand side of the space featured a dedicated meeting and presentation area, complete with a table, seating and branded backwall. This zone allowed the DiamondBox team to discuss project briefs, showcase prototypes and talk through tailored solutions with designers, buyers, brand managers and sourcing teams. Its semi-enclosed layout created a sense of calm and privacy while remaining open and accessible to walk-up enquiries.
Natural materials and warm textures were used throughout the stand to emphasise DiamondBox’s tactile, design-led approach. A wood-finish reception counter created a welcoming first point of contact, while the orange carpet tied the entire space together with cohesive brand consistency. Integrated lighting ensured product displays, digital content and feature graphics were all brightly and evenly illuminated.
As a leading UK exhibition stand builder, Guardian Display handled every phase of the project — from 3D concept design and structural engineering to pre-build testing, installation and on-site handover at Packaging Innovations. Our team ensured all components, from curved shelves to canopy ribs, were manufactured with precision and assembled flawlessly to achieve a high-end finish.
The final stand delivered exceptional results for DiamondBox, helping them attract significant footfall, hold meaningful conversations with buyers and position themselves as innovators within the UK packaging and corrugated cardboard sector. This project highlights Guardian Display’s expertise in creating bespoke exhibition stands for manufacturing and packaging brands, blending creative design with strong commercial functionality.
