Guardian Display partnered with WHP Group to deliver a clean, professional and highly functional exhibition stand for Connected Britain, the UK’s leading event for next-generation networks, telecoms infrastructure and digital transformation. As one of the country’s major Tier 1 programme and project management providers for mobile and fixed line telecoms deployment, WHP Group required a stand that communicated technical authority, operational capability and industry leadership all while providing a comfortable space for meaningful discussions with clients and partners.

The design centred on a bold, corporate aesthetic using deep blue tones, crisp white typography and clear messaging to reinforce WHP Group’s brand identity. Large-format graphics were employed across the back and side walls, communicating key positioning statements such as “Professionals in Telecoms Infrastructure” and “The leading Tier 1 programme and project management provider…” This high-impact messaging ensured clarity from a distance, attracting decision-makers, operators, contractors and technology partners throughout the show.

A centrally mounted screen created a digital focal point, giving WHP Group the ability to present project portfolios, infrastructure deployment visuals and case studies. Positioned at eye level, it drew visitors naturally into the space and supported deeper conversation around WHP’s nationwide rollout programmes, inhouse engineering capabilities and long-term telecoms partnerships.

To encourage engagement and longer dwell times, Guardian Display designed a dedicated networking lounge at the heart of the stand. The space featured modern grey modular sofas arranged in a collaborative layout, creating a welcoming environment for client discussions, technical consultations and project updates. This open yet semi-private layout mirrored the collaborative nature of telecoms infrastructure delivery, fostering a natural flow between casual conversation and structured business meetings.

At the front corners of the stand, clean white counters with WHP Group branding provided practical touchpoints for greeting visitors, distributing literature and managing product demonstrations. Their placement helped define the stand boundary while maintaining an open and accessible feel.

The stand design also incorporated subtle curved graphic elements on the rear wall, adding visual interest and referencing telecoms network structures without overwhelming the branding. Soft LED lighting ensured key messages remained clearly visible, while the grey and white flooring created a neutral base that complemented both the seating and the corporate colour palette.

As a UK exhibition stand builder, Guardian Display managed the full end-to-end process including 3D stand design, structural production, graphic manufacture, delivery and installation at ExCeL London. Our team ensured seamless alignment of all structural elements, perfect tensioning of wall graphics, and precise placement of furniture and AV equipment ensuring the WHP Group stand was fully operational and ready for visitors as doors opened.

The finished stand provided WHP Group with a strong, confident presence at Connected Britain, enabling their team to showcase their nationwide telecoms expertise, meet with existing partners and engage with new opportunities across fibre, mobile and digital infrastructure sectors. The project highlights Guardian Display’s capability in producing bespoke exhibition stands for telecoms and technology events, blending high-impact branding with functional meeting spaces tailored to industry needs.
